Return to Match fishing
Good news guys Boris and GAS say we can resume match fishing all be it with Social distancing and personal hygiene rules applying. We will start again on Sunday 7th June with Summer League 1 on Richardson lake draw 8.30 fish 10-3.30pm.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL UNWELL OR ARE SHOWING ANY COVID SYMPTOMS AND FOR THE TIME BEING SPECTATORS ARE ASKED TO STAY AWAY FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.
Please bring a pair of gloves to use when using the toilet facilities and handling club nets etc. We will use the nets in the barn as normal but please ensure when you return them that they are hung up to dry properly. Please also bring the correct money £10 and a £1 for the league and place it in the container provided, prize money will be paid out using "clean" cash from a float and cash taken on the day will be quarantined for several days to be ready to payout at the next match.
The draw will be outside the hut so as not to interfere with people queuing for the shop, and Roger or Dave will draw all the numbers, you should then go straight to your peg ensuring social distancing rules. Also at the end of the match please remain at your peg until weighed in. We will be using a purpose built cradle to ensure social distancing during the weigh in.
It should be obvious but DO NOT SHARE ANY TACKLE OR BAIT ETC WITH ANYBODY. Feel free to share tactics/secrets with the match sec though Ha ha.
Finally enjoy being back match fishing and abide by the rules, the last thing anybody needs is to be stopped again by a lack of regard for the current situation
