Aquamaintain, working for the Environment Agency, are starting habitat improvement work at Eashing on Monday 20th September.
The work involves cutting back and pinning trees along the river at Eashing to speed up the flow and encourage sediment movement. The work is expected to last one week.
Apologies for any disruption to fishing but hopefully increasing the flow will improve the habitat for fish over the coming years.
Tree works at Bramley are scheduled for this week. Expect some noise disruption and possible burning of cuttings. Should be finished by Thursday 24th

There are reports of fish deaths in the locality. Fish diseases like KHV can be carried on wet nets and mats. By drying them completely you help stop their spread. This is absolutely crucial to protecting our fish stocks
