Our Waters - Winkworth

The Winkworth Flyfishers, set up in 1981 provides members with Trout fishing at a reduced rate on this National Trust water.

A beautiful five acre lake called Rowes Flashe lies within the grounds of Winkworth Arboretum and is regularly stocked with triploid rainbow and brown trout weighing up to 7 lbs.

For an additional subscription members may enjoy Trout fishing here from April until the end of October.

Lower car park open to all members through a locked farm gate. The keys to this gate and to the boathouse and locked boats will be provided on becoming a member.

In the grounds of Winkworth Arboretum. Head out of Godalming towards Hascombe (Brighton Rd) and Winkworth is on the left approx 1.5 miles after Busbridge.

Guest Ticket
After the first calendar month of a season members may take a guest on to the water but not more than twice in seven days. Cost is currently £15.00 per session.
