Our Waters - Johnsons
Closed April 15th - June 15th inclusive.

The Society purchased this lake in 1987, a former trout fishery of some 21 acres, with 10 acres of land surrounding it.

Our members now enjoy the fishing here with the benefits of having three car parks, each with toilet facilities, within the locked gates of this fishery.
The fishing in this mixed specimen water is exceptional, with Crucian Carp weighing over 4 lbs, Tench into double figures, Roach and Rudd over 2 lbs, Perch topping 4 lbs, plus Mirror and Common Carp over 30 lbs.

Disabled Access
The Railway Bank is disabled-friendly,but the remainder of the swims around the lake have very shallow margins that may present problems for the disabled angler.

Toilet Facilities
Yes - three portaloos around the site, or toilet block in the main Marsh Farm car park.
Access Arrangements
Entry via car parks; one through Marsh Farm complex, the other via Water Lane. There is pedestrian access through a locked gate on the north west corner. Member's key required at all access points

The most straightforward access is via our Marsh Farm Complex at Milford.

Johnsons Lake car park is sign-posted inside the entrance gates of Marsh Farm, and is a very short drive around the fishery perimeter road.
